Halloween is creeping up on us, in the dark with ominous creeking floorboards and spooky music.

When I was a child my Mum put on the most amazing Halloween parties, with all us kids and most of the adults dressed up as spacemen, fairies, witches and toads. We had green fairy cakes, apple bobbing, cake bobbing, pin the spider on the web, hide and seek skeletons, feely boxes with "worms", "guts" and "eyeballs" she really went all out.

I'm spending this Halloween at the Sawtell art centre. We are opening for our first Sunday 10-3. I'll be around all day if you'd like to come and see me and some of my work in person. I have some Halloween specials on sale among the other treasures. It's free entry and we welcome browsers so come and check it out if you're in and around Sawtell and getting rained on!

I can't wait til my little girl is a bit older and I can put on Halloween parties for all her friends. I think I'll wait til I'm back in England next year when Mum will be on hand to help out tho xx
