Thankyou Grumpy People

Posted by Clare Brookes on Monday, January 20, 2014,
Good morning!

(Well it is a good morning here in any case - the sun is shining, mist is rising out of the valley, orange light is meandering in through my front windows, reflected off the brick houses opposite, and clinky bin men are up and down the street a lot just now)

Welcome to my little world of blog. It is becoming a little world full of gratitude as I make my way down a path that I hope leads to greater happiness and fulfilment - tho I'm not sure in what way exactly that will manifest....

Living in the Past

Posted by Clare Brookes on Saturday, January 11, 2014,
We cause ourselves some degree of heartache when we dwell in the past, thinking of what we had had and what we have lost.

Posted by Clare Brookes on Wednesday, January 1, 2014,
Happy New Year my lovelies!

I hope you are all looking forward to a fabbytastic year and making a lovely long list of resolutions. It's a good time of year to look inward too, to reflect on the year gone by. I think it's a good time to be thankful.

I had an exhibition which went pretty well. I decided to stop making craft and doing markets, and focus purely on painting and drawing. That was pretty painful as I love making stuff, I love doing the garlands, sewing things, I love markets, but I lo...
